Elikonas: From Zeriki (Elikonas) to Arvanitsa
This route is part of Trail O22, which crosses Mount Elikonas and runs from Distomo to the Monastery of Hosios Loukas. It is a beautiful route through snow-covered fir forest, a fact that slightly made the descent towards the Arvanitsa plateau more difficult, as the trail is partially blocked by fallen trees.
Mount Elikonas lies in the western part of the prefecture of Boeotia, between Mount Parnassos and Mount Kithairon.
